Project Description for an Independent Web Developer
RedPC Services Ltd
RedPC is the UK’s only provider of the HTi (Home Training Initiative) based in North London. The Home Training Initiative is an employee benefit for all both work and the family based on a salary sacrifice scheme. It consists of e-learning based training modules for mutually personal and professional development. As a benefit of the scheme, a computer of the employee’s choice (desktop, laptop and/or media centre) is included with the training to help complete the courses.
All the information required by employees to join an HTi scheme is contained within an employee portal that is hosted by RedPC.
This portal provides a complete overview of the scheme, all calculations and also generates two agreements between the employee for their employer and for RedPC.
Requirements:
1) Currently the employee fills in their personal details through the dedicated portal, and then has to print hard copies locally which they then need to sign and then have signed by their employer.
Requirement for electronic on-line employee acceptance of agreements and then electronic submission of the documents to employer and RedPC and/or employee with the ability to print locally as well.
2) Currently employees can choose from 15 pre-configured HTi bundles.
We wish to expand upon this and would like an eCommerce shopping portal which can include these current product bundles but also allow the employees to add various other product options. At the basket stage the employee/employer/RedPC agreements must then be populated with these details plus the gross/net salary sacrifice data plus all employee details and employer details.
In addition to the above immediate requirement the company would also want to discuss the long term part time availability of the successful contractor for ongoing updates to this employee web portal plus the companies own corporate web site.
Early April is the deadline for the immediate requirements. UK based only and also subject to suitable references and experience.
