Our client, an award-winning User-Centered Digital Agency based in Central London, urgently requires a User-Experience (UX) Designer to generate innovative, elegant, highly usable and likeable digital experiences. You will be competent in all aspects of a user centric approach to design from conceptualization, user research, detailed user interface, functional design, through implementation and usability review.
You will have a passion for design, an eye for detail, strong opinions, a sense of style and an enthusiasm for new challenges. You must be an excellent communicator, be willing to share your thoughts with the rest of the team, and inspire clients with your ideas.
Requirements
• Degree in Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Cognitive Psychology, or related field
• Experience in creating wireframes, visual mockups, graphics, and user workflows.
• Ability to incorporate input from multiple sources and for synthesizing it into coherent designs
• Excellent critical thinking, complex problem solving skills, and analytical approach
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
• Visual design skills a plus
• Experience in defining IA of complex interfaces, taxonomies and metadata frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to develop big ideas, and execute flawlessly against them in a highly collaborative environment
• Experience as an information architect, interaction designer, or experience designer (or similar role)
• You must have a strong ability and passion for the user experience, and up to date knowledge of key issues within the industry
• Knowledge and experience of front end mark up standards.
• Experience with Microsoft Silverlight and WPF a plus.
• E-Commerce, CRM, RIA’s, Analytics, Mobile, Multi-Channel innovation or SEO experience is a definite plus
