Role: Technical Writer (Contract – Six months)
Reports to: Development Manager

Responsibilities:
• Kick-start the Zimki document effort
• Write software documentation in English primarily for external customers, including:
• API references
• Quick Start guides
• Tutorials
• Knowledge Base articles
• FAQ's
• Ensure documentation is easily accessible & useful to our customers
• Edit developer-produced documentation
Required skills:
* A good command of written English
* A background in web development
* A good understanding of the web industry, and common technologies used
* Ability to present technical information in an engaging, easy-to-read format
* Ability to cope with fast-paced environment & work under pressure
* Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML
Ideally:
* A good understanding of JavaScript and general programming techniques
* Able to work with a Version Control System (eg. SVN, CVS, Perforce, MS VSS)
