Business Development Manager (London)location Londonjob area Sales posted on 20/2/2007 We are a small London based, specialist web agency backed up by one of the top 30 interactive agencies in the UK. Although young, we have an impressive client list which includes the likes of Tesco, Auto Trader, Honda and Swarovski. We are currently looking to expand our team with a Business Development Executive. The ideal candidate will primarily be working independently and will be responsible for closing deals and managing client relationships. You will also be responsible for contributing to the overall sales strategy and will be reporting directly to the Managing Director. The key responsibilities will include: --------------------------------------- - Lead generation - Pitching to potential and existing clients - Dealing with telephone enquires - Preparing quotations / proposals and responding to tenders - Maintaining a database of client contacts - Maintaining sales figures on a weekly and monthly basis - Closing deals! Targets: --------- Month 1: 5K Month 2: 15K Month 3: 30K 30K target from then on. Although not essential, but experience within the New Media industry would be a definite plus. The ideal candidate should be a team player, lively and should not be afraid to cold call. Previous experience of closing deals worth 20K and over would be required.
