Tribewanted Web 2.0 developer
Tribewanted.com is using Web 2.0 to bring people together online who positively impact the world-offline. Tribewanted.com is actively searching for an individual who has knowledge in Web 2.0 to help take the project to the next level.
Required Skills and Experience:
At least 3 years experience with all of the following: HTML/DHTML, Javascript, AJAX, CSS
Expertise with translating designs into production-quality code that is W3 compliant and multi-browser cross-platform compatible
Working knowledge of and enthusiastic interest in keeping up with "best practices" and new technologies
Great work ethic. Must be enthusiastic and thrive in a creative environment.
Preferred Experience:
UI design
Flash programming
Knowledge of Ruby on Rails
Knowledge of SVN, Linux
Must be prepared to be filmed as part of a television documentary series about tribewanted. (This will also enable you to share your skills to the UK and possibly the world!)
We are looking for someone who may be initially based at home but who will move to Vorovoro Island in Fiji within a few months.
