We are looking for a full time web designer / developer responsible for the design, coding and ongoing maintenance of our website, internal web projects and client websites.
We are rapidly expanding into different activities, and are looking for a bright graduate, with previous web design and development experience, and a proactive approach to work and new projects.
Applicants must have a portfolio of previous projects, ideally demonstrating an ability to work independently delivering websites and projects from start to finish.
Technical Skills Required:
* Detailed knowledge of best practice web design and coding
* Knowledge and experience of developing PHP driven sites (ideally object oriented)
* Fluency in HTML and JavaScript (Need to be able to design and code from a text editor / IDE : No WYSIWYG )
* Knowledge and experience of processing XML / RSS Feeds
* Expert CSS based design skills
* AJAX Skills preferable
* Image manipulation skills (Photoshop / Illustrator)
* Appreciation usability and accessibility issues and their impact on design and SEO
* Experience of open source CMS (preferably Wordpress or Drupal)
* Knowledge and experience of Flash / Actionscript
* Knowledge of Search Engine Optimisations preferable
* Stay at the cutting edge of web design and coding trends

* Must be enthusiastic and flexible
* Able to learn quickly and apply skills
* Team player, and reliable
* Able to manage multiple tasks and manage time effectively
* Able to empathise with objectives and deliver results
* Capable of working independently and as part of a team
* Degree level qualification preferred but suitable experience considered
