We are a fast growing online travel start-up looking for some bright I.T. students to assist us in some contract work. You should be familiar with Regular expressions and have some exposure to Java 1.4 onwards. This role will involve you creating a set of configurations that will be pivotal to the functionality of a server side J2EE application that currently drives our search portal.
We understand that you are students and have your primary responsibilities so we will keep deadlines realistic and will try to be flexible with you.
The reward structure will be on a per config basis – so each will be tested and checked for being signed off.
Key Requirements
You should be thoroughly familiar with regular expressions (of Java, UNIX or Perl flavours)
You should be contactable regularly by email and chat but preferably Skype as well (for conference calls from time to time)
You should be from a Computer Science/Engineering background
You are a go getter and proactive in your work taking responsibility for your own work and attention to detail is everything to you as well as quality and efficient coding.
