Overview
Fast-growing interactive design and marketing agency based in Covent Garden are seeking an experienced C# ASP.NET developer working initially on a contract/project basis.
Not phased by working for big brand named clients, you will integral in the development of some of the company’s major projects in 2007.
This is a senior position, so you will ideally be degree educated, with at least 3 - 5yrs web development experience working in either Blue Chip or Agency style organisations.
A Passion and enthusiasm about web development and its surrounding technologies is a must.
Core Skills Required
C# within the Microsoft ASP.NET 1.1 framework (user, server and custom controls)
Object Oriented approach to design and development, utilising design patterns and designing with modelling languages such as UML.
Database design and development with Microsoft’s SQL Server
Querying Database with SQL, experience of stored procedures.
XML, XSL and XPath
ADO.net
Web Services
IIS Server configuration
Build and Deployment with Nant and CruzeControl.net / Versioning with CVS (or Similar)
Technical Specification writing
Experience with major Content Management Systems, ideally EPIServer
This is a backend development position, but any experience with HTML and CSS would be an advantage
Unit Testing with Nunit
