Job Purpose: Working within the web development team of a digital media
agency the successful candidate will work across various website projects
and general systems administration. You will work in co-ordination with the
in-house design team
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
* Developing the front and back end of websites.
* Working with graphic design team to ensure creative concepts and client expectations are met.
* Checking server log files.
* Administration of all systems.
* Testing of websites before going live dates.
* Maintaining servers.
* Making updates and amends to existing websites when required.
* Supporting clients with their IT requirements.
Essential:
* Posses a formal qualification in an IT related subject. e.g.computer science or IT and have experience in working with the following:
* HTML/XHTML
* XML
* DHTML
* JS skills
* CSS
* PHP
* MySQL
* Knowledge about W3C compliance
Desirable
* OOP programming concepts
* AJAX/JSON
* Frameworks/ Design Patterns
* Linux
* Flash / Actionscript
Person Specification
* Be well organised.
* Have great attention to detail.
* Possess a can-do attitude.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Ability to work within a team.
* A willingness to learn is essential.
* Happy to work in a creative environment.
Suitability
This role would ideally suit a recent graduate who is looking for their

with real passion for what they do, who are willing to learn, experiment and
push the boundaries of web development.
