MOBILE DEVICE PROGRAMMER / MOBILE SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
A small, rapidly growing, dynamic company requires the services of a Mobile Device Programmer / Embedded Software Developer. The role will be on a short term assignment / contractor / freelance basis, being flexible in terms of location. Development can take place remotely or from our premises in Bracknell, Berkshire, working closely with a small existing technical team. It is an excellent opportunity to secure future long term contracting opportunities for exceptional candidates.
Substantial experience in the following operating systems, programming languages, software environments and IT platforms are a serious requirement:
• Microsoft Windows CE 4 & 5, Windows Mobile, Pocket PC, Compact Framework
• Microsoft enterprise platforms ASP.Net, SQL Server
• Visual Studio
• C#, C++, Visual Basic
Proven project experience, dealing with the following key elements are essential:
• GPRS / 3G Mobile Data Communication
• RFID or Infrared Data Communication
• Serial and/or USB Interfacing
• XML Data Transfer
• Graphical User Displays / Interfaces
The successful candidate will participate in various mobile application development projects from the concept development and specification stages, through to final testing and implementation.
The first project is likely to last approximately 2 weeks and the rate is negotiable.
