Adepteo is a small company with a growing number of contracts and so we now require additional technical expertise. Our environment is the traditional LAMP platform so experience of Linux, PHP etc. is a strong plus.
The work involves a diverse range of activities and will require the right person to become a key member of the team.
The type of projects that we have are generally technical in nature rather than design oriented but they do include a number of large E-Commerce systems as well as the processing of a large number of data feeds both incoming and outgoing.
A certain amount of SysAdmin level work will also be required as we run and maintain our own servers hosted in Manchester.
The most technically interesting aspect of the company is the move into VoIP technologies and we are now running hosted PBX systems for a rapidly growing number of companies and as part of this we are integrating the PBX into on-line applications and using it as a key part of our technology offerings.
The position will be extremely interesting and offer the right person an excellent opportunity to grow, but initial salary will be low, with profit related bonuses and profit share scheme.
So it is seen that the ideal candidate will be a student who is looking to take a year out or a recent graduate looking for the opportunity to put their learning into practice.
