We are a games company specialising in the production of cross platform connected entertainment. We deliver a mixture of original and licensed content on platforms as diverse as mobile to next generation console and are looking to grow our small select team to support current and pending projects.
We are looking for a JavaScript programmer to work alongside our server team, to develop rich and attractive browser based client interfaces. The ideal candidate must posses a strong background in contemporary "web 2.0" development, following best practise with xhtml, css, xml and JavaScript.
Responsible, resourceful and passionate are all qualities that we value.
Essential skills & experience:
* Expert in:
o JavaScript
o XHTML, CSS to W3C standards.
o AJAX / XML
* Experience with database driven web 2.0 projects
* 2 years proven experience with positive references/peer reputation
Advantageous skills and experience
* Knowledge of Mootools or a similar web 2.0 toolkit.
* Experience in browser based game or multimedia application
* Server based scripting languages (PHP, Python, Java, ASP)
* Comfortable with Linux as a development environment
* Previous development in a team, including use of source control
* Interest in games and entertainment media
