Data visualisation

Just wondered if anyone has any experience/advice/tools in data visualisation on the web? A quick overview follows if this interests you.

International distribution co. collects data about potential clients: the usual sales and marketing stuff, plus details from responses to past campaigns, memberships of organisations, lifestyle, revenue... all sorts of data, mostly 'yes/no' flags.
Current volumes: about 2m targets, and about 200 attributes/target.
The problem is: how to let users of this data understand what they've got, mine it, interpret it, chart it, and use it, on the web.
