Domain Name Parking Solution
posted on 24/11/2001We are looking for a developer to work on a domain name holding/parking solution.
Our company owns 100s of domain names (some good: Xtreme.co.uk - and some bad: IamSorry.co.uk)
anyway basically we have DNS control over all the domains, and they are all parked on a server at DSVR at present.
however the solution we would like is if a visitor enters www.anydomain.co.uk - it automatically comes up with that domain and relevant details (possible link to our partner site which sells the domains for us)
also We want to be able to do the following:
be able to add more domain as and when required?
get traffic reports on each individual domain?
be able to modify data on holding page?
basically as this isnt our main business, we havent to much time to invest in the adminstration of this.
I realise a Dedicated Server solution may be required for this, and that is fine.
any initial ideas please drop me a line.
