Database Driven Site (ASP)

posted on 28/3/2002

Hi,

I'm looking to have a website that can dynamically generate content from a database (maybe MySQL or SQL Server) using ASP. This is so my team and I can modify or add new articles into the database and new pages with links will be automatically generated (if possible).

Also the site would have a members section so customer information can be collected and stored, and possibly members can be tracked using the database.

We have partner sites which would have links on our site so every time a link was clicked the database would be updated.

We don't have a specific brief of what we want and are considering other elements:

discussion forums
chat rooms
polls
'e-mail a friend'
site customisation (colours, fonts etc.)

Graphically the site would be quite simple, mainly HTML with a few pictures but we are considering flash based simple games (like tetris) with our logos incorporated as a promotional tool.

Sorry if this is a little vague but we are uncertain as to what exactly we want so anything else you can think of would be considered.

Please can you supply previous URL's and prices starting with the database design through to the ASP scripts with all the different elements broken down (forums, graphics, flash etc.)

Any questions just ask,

Thanks Chris
