Business Website & Shopping Cart
posted on 9/8/2003I require a freelancer to work on a small business website with shopping cart. The site will have between 10-15 pages, the exact pages are still to be decided upon.
The site will be created using ASP with a MySQL database backend. Hosted on a windows server.
The site will display company information and the shopping cart (category based) will initially have around 20 products. But this must have an online administration panel to allow us to add, remove and edit products. The product frontpage will display a thumbnail and brief description, cost etc. & a more information button. The more info button will open a popup window with a larger image & and more detailed information.
The thumbnail needs to be created when the main product image is uploaded, using ASPjpeg. & ASPupload to upload the image.
All copy will be supplied, with some images. Who ever takes on this project will be expected to add-lib & insert appropriate non-copyrighted images where applicable.
Other pages will include a Links directory which can also be administered from the admin section.
The Home page will also be administered from the admin section, allowing us to add, remove & edit articles.
We have a basic layout for the design template, but the successful candidate will be expected to make the design thier own & basically give it a bit of flare. The page structure will be not use any tables, it will be created using CSS to control the desin.
Please supply timescales and ballpark figures, along with any supporting evidence of your work & skills.
When supplying a quote, please also provide a breakdown of costs & seperate costs for carrying out just the small business website, including links & admin sections. And just the shopping cart & admin section.
