File Uploading facilityposted on 16/9/2003My website, www.theFreeWeb.net , informs people about free stuff and competitions in the UK. It uses a MS Access 2000 database with ASP scripting. When I submit a new freebie I have to give these details: Title Category Company Description Web Address Image (URL) Valid Form (date) Offer Ends (date) With the Image (URL) field I am having to upload the image manually using FTP onto the web server. The typing the URL to access the image, e.g. http://www.thefreeweb.net/images/somepicture.gif I want the ability to upload the image from the website itself. I do not want the MS Access 2000 database to store the image. The images will be stored in the /images directory and MS Access should contain a link to that image. My webhost won’t allow any popular components like aspupload etc. so it has to be a clean solution. Let me know the time-frame needed to get the job done and price. For a simple job like this I’m not expecting it to cost an arm and a leg! Thanks. We are no longer accepting applications for this project. |
