HOW IT WORKS
When an AS user receives an e-mail the system automatically sends out a challenge e-mail to the sender. The sender then has to click a link in this e-mail in order to verify themselves and their e-mail address. When this has been carried out the e-mail will automatically be transferred into the user’s inbox.
The system has to be web-based and the users will have to either choose one of our multiple domains or forward their own e-mail to the default e-mail address of their account (e.g. USER@antispamsolution.com) or enter the POP3 details in the system and the system will then pick up the e-mail their e-mail.
The user will be assigned a new POP3 account by the system (e.g.) mail.antispamsolution.com and will pick up their “cleaned and verified” e-mail from there.
Until a sender has verified themselves the e-mail will be quarantined in the PENDING folder. The user can by using the web interface get access to their e-mail including the PENDING folder. From the pending folder the user can verify the senders manually.
The system shall be able to handle multiple domains so our users can choose the username and a domain from our list. We shall be able to add more domains in the future.
The user shall have the ability to approve whole domains, newsletter lists and also be able to block domains, newsletter and e-mails manually.
WEB INTERFACE
The user shall be able to use the system as a regular web-mail (e.g. hotmail / Yahoo) and shall have the ability to compose and send e-mails as well as see the received verified and quarantined mails. They shall also have the ability to change the CHALLENGE message that is being sent out. Regular web mail features are expected.
CHALLENGE E-MAIL
Every challenge message contains a verification link and a short default message. The default message has to changeable by the administrator. The user can personalise part of the e-mail from their web interface.
IMPORT / EXPORT
The block/approved list have to be import and exportable in e.g. a .csv file.
COUNTER
A counter has to be visible on the users web interface showing the amount of real e-mails and SPAM e-mails (in numbers and percentage %). This counter should also show the overall average for all users.
INTEGRATION WITH OTHER SOFTWARE
We are being provided with payment software from a US based company and there has to be an integration done with this software. This software will keep track of yearly subscriptions. If a subscription is not renewed the account have to close.
HARDWARE
The system has to be scalable and shall run on multiple servers and a LOAD/TRAFIC BALANCER etc. have to be programmed.

We will most likely host it in London, United Kingdom.
