Linux TrueType Fonts Function

We need a function written in C to run on Linux.

The function should return the length of an input string in twips or printer points using a specified TrueType font.

The function should not require an X or font server to be running.

The value returned from the function should be the same as that returned from the MS function GetTextExtentPoint32.
