2d platform game

We're a scientific communications company that require a games programmer to work with our graphics department to create a 2d PC platform game (along the lines of Mario, et al)with an educational theme (target age 6-11).
We need a really slick, professional product so we want to work with someone really good who can not only do the best work but also have the experience to provide the best advice and guidance.
