Hands On RAD Programming Guru Required To Join Our Project
posted on 26/3/2005We require a programmer for two projects we're working on, one is highly web based and is to create a customised online purchasing system.
It would allow people to buy items online using a credit or debit card but also to earn rewards for recommending us to other people who then go on to make online purchases.
For that we need a person with real hands on PHP and MySQL skills .. we're also in particular looking for someone who uses Rapid Application Development tools such as Code Charge to do most of the hard work for them rather then coding from scratch and thus needing to spend more time error checking and bug fixing.
The 2nd project involves creating a new internet enabled client - very similar to MSN Messenger, ICQ, AIM, etc but with features specific to the target market we have in mind. Such a system would also have to allow people to send information to each other encrypted, and also perhaps include VoIP and webcam facility, we want the client program to be as small, fast and as easy to install as possible therefore we're ruling out Java, our target market is windows users. We're primarily looking at someone with C++ and MySQL database experience.
If we can find someone for both projects then that would be even better, we are ideally looking for one single person that knows their stuff in programming and can apply their skills quickly.
We're based in North West London - So someone near Harrow, Watford, Northwood, etc would be ideal.
We'll need to meet the person we choose face to face - so if you're not close to NW London then probably not worth you applying, and you must be prepared to sign an NDA as both projects would be set to become very high profile when launched.
