Video/TV software
posted on 23/5/2005I’m looking for someone who can create a piece of software that will:
a) Be a video player program with a layout similar to that of Windows media player/realplayer and the BBC video player (available at www.bbc.co.uk – just play any video to see).
b) Integrate WMP, Realplayer, quicktime and possibly Winamp to play videos within the program.
c) Use this integration to play video files that are stored in a logically organized database within the program. All the user need do is click on the video and it will play that video within the programs window in the video player using the relevant player (e.g WMP, Realplayer etc)
d) Must be very simple to use.
e) Must not be overall browser based like the BBC video player, but may contain browser based elements.
f) Overall it must be self contained. In other words, the user opens the program on his PC and can select from a selection of preprogrammed videos that are organized hierarchically in a logical fashion – these videos then play in a video player within the programs window.
Ideally I want the program to be made where I or someone else can easily add and remove videos from the organized hierarchy.
