Bt International supplies a wide range of audio visual equipment including plasma and LCD flatcreen television, home theatre and professional projectors, projector lamps, interactive boards, projector screens and accessories everything required by the home user for home entertainment or the audio visual professional for presentation and conferencing. Combined with a comprehensive audio and home entertainment sections, ranging from complete hi fi units to the highest specification of separates including speakers, amplifiers, av receivers, control, headphones, microphones, mixers, multiroom, pa systems, processors, cd players, dvd players, tuners, hi fi systems, home theatre packages, tuners and much more. Other product sections contain a large selection of interactive, interfacing products including, controls, furniture and bracketry, professional range of cables, adaptors and connectors, warranties, professional installation. These sections will enable Bt International to offer over 5,500 different product lines making us one of the largest online Audio Visual stores in the U.K.
Our desire to offer the highest standards in customer service, the widest choice of products and competitive pricing will make BT International stand apart from the competition. It is our mission to become the carphonewarehouse of the Audio Visual industry offering comprehensive and unbiased advice to suit our clients needs.
The market Bt International will serve will be both the domestic and professional, we will be able to supply equipment from cheap home entertainment packages for the smallest budget through to schools, corporate clients and government bodies, the audio visual market is set to grow rapidly within the next 5 years as domestic consumers become more aware of different options open to them for the enjoyment of films and music, this can be born out in the volume of plasma and television sales in the last two years. Educational, government and corporate businesses are increasingly realizing the power of Audio visual equipment in both course work for students and employees to professional presentations to clients and associates.
The e-commerce site is to be designed as a user friendly, uncluttered online brochure that can be used by people with no internet experience. The site will be initially be broken down into 9 main product categories followed by the appropriate subsections to make site navigation easier for visiting clients. There will be further sections giving buying advice and guidance and including details of forums and magazines to be looked at for further research these guides are to be a comprehensive and detailed help to our customers make the right choice.
Each section will be displaying products from all the major brands such as sony, Sharp, Nec but also specialist companies such as Infocus, Glimm, Draper and many more.
Each product will be represented (when available) by several images, basic technical specs, full description and full technical specs, Pdf’s, prices excluding VAT, prices including VAT and shipping charges.
The basic nine categories are displayed below, these sections in total will contain approximately 5,500 - 10,000 line items.
SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMISATION
Our main selling tool will be the online catalogue we are looking to maximize the sales from clients using the search engines to find particular products to buy. It is our intention that not only will the site be easy to navigate and buy from with competitive pricing but it will be fully optimized for the search engines mainly Google, yahoo and msn, therefore we invite designers, developers and seo specialists to tender for this project
