Very good Quark/mac typesetters - August work

posted on 26/7/2005

We are a small typesetting company with a very large project coming up in August. In a nutshell, the job involves taking existing Quark files and replacing the text (which is in German) with an Italian translation, which will be provided in Word.

The job is too big for us to handle by ourselves, so we are looking for some freelance help. The ideal person will be a very good typesetter, but must also be organised, reliable, and give great attention to detail.

As we are looking to continue taking on jobs of this size, there is potential for (although no guarantees of) future work beyond this project.

If you are interested in principle, please reply giving a brief summary of your experience, and your hourly rate (in GBP). In advance of the project we will supply sample files so you can familiarise yourself with the work required.

Applicants must be experienced typesetters working on Mac OS X with Quark 6, and be freelancers resident in UK/US only. Any other applications will, I'm afraid, be ignored.

Many thanks

James
