Consumer Finance Writers

We require freelance consumer finance journalists with a good in-depth knowledge of financial terms, markets and products to write article copy for a website.
The articles will also be optimised for search engine visibility, so you will need to have some understanding of search engine optimisation techniques, although a full specification for this aspect of the job will be provided.
The articles will be explanatory, and 200-250 words each.
This project will be billable on a dayrate basis, and we expect to complete 8 articles in an 8-hour day. However, as the project is very large and the work will be distributed across several writers, you are welcome to produce work on your own schedule, fitting it in around other work if necessary.
Please note the following:
1) Project status: we are at the pitch stage, and therefore looking to assemble the team in order to be ready if we win the contract.
2) Criteria: do not apply unless you have demonstrable experience:
(a) writing financial content
(b) writing for the web
(c) understand how search engine optimised editorial works
3) When replying, please provide the following:
(a) full contact details
(b) links to example web content
(c) your expected dayrate
(d) a general idea of your availability
Note that if we progress, as part of theselection process we may ask you to write one 200-word piece as an example.
