XML into Outlook
posted on 28/3/2007We have a project which requires the import of calendar data into Outlook from an XML file received via email or by download.
There is no defined XML schema - the XML info can be produced in any format required by the relevant Outlook DOM.
However:
• a macro/ custom button/ menu item will need to be set up in Outlook to automate the import process from the XML file.
• the macro script will need a deployment mechanism to the user to auto install into their flavour of Outlook.
Please reply to this posting stating how long you believe it would take to script any associated costs, your rates and experience of similar projects.
