Programming for a complex social networking website

posted on 30/4/2007

We are looking for a small team of experienced programmers to develop a large, complex social networking website.

The website will include a variety of components including a social network, discussion forum, user questionnaires, and a wiki information resource. It will be programmed in ASP.NET 2.0 using VB and hosted on our in-house server.

The site should be designed to at least WAI single-A standard but should be very basic as design & branding will be commissioned separately.

Criteria:
• Small/medium sized company based in the UK
• Technical skills to include ASP.NET 2.0, VB (able to write code from scratch), IIS 6.0 and Windows 2003 Server administration, Javascript and SQL Server 2000/2005
• Able to design to WAI A standard
• Experience of similar projects (large, complex interactive websites)
• Available to meet regularly and provide ongoing support

Please respond with summary of relevant experience, examples of previous work and an indication of earliest availability.
