Linux Dedicated server set up for SHOUTcast use
posted on 3/2/2010We are setting up an internet based radio station.
We have the following:
1) hosting and a website with a media player
2) a remote dedicated server (which we need set up for us)
3) a PC which will be creating a stream to upload to the dedicated server
The dedicated server needs to be set up firstly with OpenSSH and then have the SHOUTcast software uploaded and installed and configured so that the playlists we generate from the PC will stream.
Ideally we'd like to get this cracked this afternoon so please get in contact as soon as you possibly can with your availability and costs.
We're based in Wiltshire but are happy to work with someone remotely - Ideally UK only.
