Experience
Degree in BA (Hons) Business Information Systems. I have designed and developed a number of websites, both HTML/XHTML & CSS and Wordpress Sites. The skills which i have principally used have been both Wordpress (ie database driven website) for a number of large sites that i recently developed, and HTML/XHTML,CSS and Fireworks/Photoshop for a 1 page introductory site for a company and a number of other sites, I also have some working knowledge of PHP. Lavender Cottage Holiday Let, Norfolk

// Specification // I was approached by the proprietor of Lavender Cottage to design and develop a website for them to attract new customers for their holiday cottage.
They wanted the website to be easy to use, providing potential holiday-makers with all the information, photographs and contact information they would need to book a stay at the cottage. I ensured that the website was picture-rich, providing detailed information about the cottage and its facilities. The integration of a contact form and standard use of SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) through-out the site ensures that customers will find the site through search engines and contact the proprietor to arrange booking. // Skills & Resources Used // > WordPress (Content Management System) to develop the main layout of the site. > I assisted the client in creating a logo and wording for the site, and we created the top header and menu graphics, along with the photo galleries for each of the cottage rooms. > Integrated a contact form into the site for customers to quickly and easily contact the proprietor. > In-built SEO through-out ensures that the site gets found by potential customers in search engines such as Google

E-Sports UK LTD - Machinery Division

They wanted a new site setup to show their wide range of sports and cleaning machinery they sell, and as there was a large amount of information to convey on this site, I opted to use WordPress to create it. // Skills Used // > WordPress (Content Management System) to develop the main layout of the site. > The client provided the logos, machinery specifications and pictures for the site, from which we created the top header graphic, added some videos of the machinery to the site as well as a contact form and links to the sub-divisions of the company.

E-Sports UK LTD

// Specification // E-Sports UK LTD already had a website which they had setup themselves the previous year. They wanted to improve their web presence to keep up with their competitors and also to market their company to a worldwide audience as they frequently sell their products to over-seas customers.
