| WRPM required an e-commerce solution. The existing catalogue was converted to an Access database and database driven pages, a search facility, shopping-cart system (linked to the WorldPay payment system) and streaming RealAudio samples were produced. An extensive password-protected Content Management System enables the database to be updated by the client through a web browser. The client can add, update and delete product and artist information and change news articles. I was responsible for all the programming and helped with the structural design of the site. | CDs created for the RAC enabled salespeople to create customised presentations and yet keep the RAC corporate look. Many features of Powerpoint (creation of extra slides, inserting the users own images and logos) were programmed into Director, combining the best of both packages and creating a very versatile and powerful tool. These presentations could either be used on the salespeople?s laptops as a presentational aid or burnt onto a CD as a customised presentation to a specific client, and sent as a stand-alone marketing tool. I worked closely with an in-house programmer on this project and produced a large proportion of the complex code. |

| Conversion of a children's board game to a highly interactive, dual language, dual-platform CD-ROM. The Green Board Game Company is currently distributing it in the UK and France. The 6-player, 2-level game involves checking answers and keeping score, movement of player pieces, rolling a dice, a timer, character customisation and the inclusion of many sounds. In addition, other areas of the CD contained jigsaw puzzles, colouring-in pages and invitations to print out, a glossary and instructions. |
