I've managed without so far (just over a year). Most things accountants do are a headache, but they
are do-able.

Having said that, I often worry that I haven't done something quite right, and unless you enjoy the
challenge, you can typically earn more in the time in takes you to figure things out than you would
have to pay a pro.
