RE: FN-FORUM charlatans

The HTML Guild looks good the consumer as it looks like a certified body.But
anyone in the know ie. us! realises that its just another graphic to add to
a "web developer" site that has absolutely no credible standing whatsoever.

Personally if i see a designer with it on their site i steer well clear as
they are usually just trying to make themselves sound better and not the
pile of cack, as i believe the term was, that they really are.
Developers/Designers should be judged on their portfolio rather than a self
appointed "quango". For real certification they should go for industry
recognised ones such as MCSE's or Software specific certification.

I shall get off my soapbox now!
