off the top of my head:

*) Cross-platform capability (doesn't have to be on NT)
*) Therefore possibly cheaper (CF runs on Linux and does
cheap/free dbs like MySQL nicely)
*) It's tag based so many people from an HTML background
find it easier to learn
*) It scales up into Spectra (Allaire's Content Management System)
which could be a *nice* stream of work.
