Online payment help & recommendations...
date posted 1st September 2000 20:23
Hi,
Has anyone had experience in integrating Barclay's Online Merchant Services
into a web site?
The Barclays web site states that our client must register to a 'Payment
Service Provider' and these are listed at
http://www.bms.barclays.co.uk/providers/providers.html I would be very
interested as to any of your views or recommendations regarding any of the
listed companies. I am also suspicious of an overlap in the services
provided by the PSP and Barclays.
To make it easy for ourselves, we wish to keep the process of integrating
the service as simple as possible (well, we can always hope eh? ;-). In
terms of our clients interests, they wish to keep the transaction fees as
low as possible, but from what I have seen so far this may be a problem
since the transaction value will rarely be greater than £1. Again, any wise
thoughts or views on this matter will be greatly appreciated.
Of course, if you can think of any suitable alternatives to Barclay's which
are easier and cheaper than Barclays, I will gladly convince our client to
opt for one of these!
Hope everyone has a work free weekend - ( If only! ;-)
Cheers
Richard
