Hi guys,
PWS is actually stored as CAB files on your PC if you are running Win98.
I'm just going to include (below) the content of a tech support email I sent
to Allaire when I was having a problem installing PWS and Cold Fusion Server
on my PC as it sums up fairly well how I went about installing the PWS.
Hope this helps,

"Hi Bala,
Hooray, hooray - it works at last!!!
After a lot of scowling at my PC it finally dawned on me
that although I had got a PWS in my system tray and it was
supposedly running correctly that perhaps I had only a
partial installation, especially as I had noticed that there
was a setup.exe and loads of cab files in a folder called
pws, under windows ..... it seemed suspicious so I ran them.
Only 6 or so hours later and after many failed attempts at
installing transaction server component of PWS I searched on
the error code it gave and found a patch on the microsoft web site.
Viola! It installed properly, I installed Cold Fusion server
again and, as if by magic, it appears to all be working :)
If any other win98 users ask, you might suggest they go and
read the personal web server html file that can be found in
the explorer folder on the start - programs - explorer
menu.... it tells you where to look for the missing PWS
version 4 files.
Phewee, it's 10pm again and I'm shutting down for the night,
again. Just thought I'd let you know it had a happy ending
;-)
Cheers,
