Hi Lindsey,
good luck!
I had Hackers trying to break into my site, AT&T basically sent me to the
FBI (confirming of course that they take these things VERY seriously), how
much chance do you have that they will listen to you as somebody from the
UK. Silt. Same story in the Netherlands +++.
I got some ass*le which thought it would be a really great idea to sent
animl porn to my job maillinglists, my users were delighted, now I have to
moderate. (Geocities NO answer to my requests)
The only 1 I could get by now was a wee kid from a school which I could
catch over a german provider, who was stupid enough to tried to swear at us,
leaving his IP. I got an apology from the school.
Most of the times its a complete waste of time, as Geocities and alike loose
business if they admit that give room on their sites for the genetic
leftovers of humanity.
Better delete these mails, its less hassle, than pusuing this. Its bad
enough that you have to do it as a sysadmin, dont waste your time.
Unless you dont want to open a project fighting against the ignorance of
providers like geocities, just leave it.
Nils

Anyone else had this email? What a low down, cheap trick.
I've had 2 emails today from [EMAIL REMOVED] with the subject
'info requested' on it. it makes you think its something important and when
you go to the link, a geocities.com site you're taken to a page of the
lovely 'keren' and asked if you want to see more and look at some hardcore
porn sites. Huh! Charming!
Is this illegal? Should I contact Geocities?
