Could be that your sever cannot run cgi scripts when they are located outside
/cgi-bin/ or whatever your cgi directory is. Try moving the cgi there.

This all depends how bespoke your solutions need to be. I'd agree with the

If it's a Windows machine look in C:windowsfonts for the ttf file (ie
nicefont.ttf). Stick it on a floppy and drag and drop it into the same
folder on the second machine. Should work without any prob...
