Re: FN-FORUM Jump menu to pop-up
date posted 9th January 2001 14:08
purely in javascript for the onclick use a standard window.open(url, name,
options) and then in the opened window have the following code:
variablename=window.opener.formname.jumpmenu.options[window.opener.formname.
jumpmenu.selectedIndex].value;
this will get the value from the parent window to the jump window
as easier way of doing this though is with querystrings:
function openuper(thing){
window.open("page.asp?itm="+thing.options[thing.selectedIndex].value),
"newwin", "");
}
