There are programmes around that do this sort of thing - although remember
that many ISPs forbid sending bulk emails - spamming!
I don't know of any way of doing it - apart from what you have sugges...

I moved over to PlusNet 24x7 after my Breathe Freely account went

You could also consider the ColdFusion tag ezedit. As long as they are using
IE5+ it will generate a very nice editing environment. If your browser is
lower specced it will just provide a text area....
