RE: FN-FORUM News ticker on desktop

Martin, I haven't seen the news ticker that the bbc provides. Does it run on
your desktop? If so, then that's what we are looking for except we want to
use our own databased content.
Roy.

We have a database on a webserver that we want to access
from a news ticker.
The idea is that the client downloads it from a website then
installs it as
an application. It then runs on their desktop and polls the
database every
now and again to refresh itself. Has anyone seen such a
thing? or have any
idea where we can get one?
Thanks,
Roy.
