RE: FN-FORUM browser stats
date posted 27th January 2001 20:07
Usually I design sites with 800 x 600 as the standard, but make sure it
looks OK at 1024 x 768.
At the moment I try to make things useable in both IE 4+ and Nafscape, but
again I don't work up a sweat trying to meet Nafscape's idea of what a web
page should look like.
I have used thecounter.com for stats and found that nearly 70% of people
looking at one site were using IE5, 20% IE4 and the rest made up of IE3,
AOL, Nafscape and others.

I'm with Ruth on that one! I do test in Crapscape, but don't
kill myself if I can't get it perfect.
I also try and get it 'managable' in 1024x768 res.
I have no access to Macs, but all our clients have had PCs -
tempting fate on this one, and I don't wanna start another
war on the forum (just yet)!!
