Mark,
THis is just a wild guess, but when Access2000 first came out I remember
seeing quite a few queries on various forums about records failing to
update correctly, where they had worked fine in earlier versions. The
solution was that tables had to contain both a unique ID field AND a
timestamp field to avoid insert and update errors.
As I say, its just a guess, but it might be worth a try?
