the obvious secret to getting people to advertise on your site is really the
traffic - you have to have decent PI's (page impression) to warrant people
spending money on advertising.
I use Linkexchange for a couple of my sites and I only generally use them
for Eye candy - they don't provide any real leads... although the more
people that look at your site, the more times a banner is displayed and the
more times your banner is shown elsewhere.... but even then - I've had
40,000 page impressions on my site and only 4000 impressions of my banner -
and only 150 people have actually clicked through!
Anyway, I hope this helps you a bit more....
