Online payment services

Hi everyone:)

I am looking for an online payment service, like kagi.com but based in the
UK. The transaction costs for banking USA chqs is too expensive! I don't
need a full e-commerce service just someone that will take major credit card
payments for me, take a percentage of my sales and then send me a monthly
chq for the remainder - does that make sense? I don't have a huge catalogue
of goods and am selling custom digital designs. I used kagi for a long time
but shut my site down because of the ridiculous hassle of getting the chqs
cashed. It has been a year or so and am still getting emails about my work,
so I have decided to resurrect it assuming I can find a good online payment
service.

If any of you know of such a service, I would be grateful for any info -
thank you
