Netscape tables...again!!!

I know I know...

Does anybody know a definitive way to stop table contents
wrapping?

I have a text box and list box in a cell which I cannot for
the life of stop wrapping in Netscape.
Yet the next row has three such items and is fine??

I have tried nowrap, css (white-space : nowrap;) and quite a few
other combinations!
