Hi,
I have just had a request to find some decent hosting for a number of sites
and they want to be able to have some control over setting up email
throughout their company. I think they use an internal server to route
individually named emails to the right location, but they were a little
unsure how this works, the server was installed by an outside company.
So I suggested that it could be possible where their domain is hosted to use
the hosting companies mail server to forward all emails to any designated
forwarding address. A web design firm that I do freelance work for uses
Netcetera (www.inetc.net) for hosting and this can be done with them, but
they use NT servers and I have had no end of problems setting up scripts and
stuff. So I want to host with a UNIX server.
I don't need too much space up to 10mb will be fine, but 5 will probably do.
Access to a mail server and web based control panel.
And to be able to transfer each domain name to the new hosting company.
I have 4 sites to set up, but I'll put each in there own space.
Any suggestions?
