Scrolling in Director 8!

Could any one help me with this one?

I am making a director movie and have a load of text which i would like to
scroll through. But dont want to use directors custum scroll bars!.

Does anyone know for lingo or a web site in which i could create my own
scroll bars!. I have made a few buttons i.e (up + down) but how can i make
these scroll the text?? Any help?
