RE: FN-FORUM web cams

yes it is possible to have a live feed onto the internet, obviously it would
need a constant internet connection when transmitting.
There are 2 common kinds of web cams:-
1) the smaller cheaper (upto ?250) cams which connect via serial/usb
2) the more professional cams which can be a network device and can then be
part of a lan and would not require a PC to be directly connected to it.

Subject: FN-FORUM web cams
Hi
Does anyone know anything about webcams? Is it possible to , for example,
place a webcam in a nightclub and have live action on to the web? I really
can't get my head round how this works. Would the webcam have to be
connected to a computer?
Thanks
