Re: FN-FORUM a little legal advice
date posted 24th May 2001 20:40
tut tut ruth!, me knowing everything? was that sarcasm?! :)
is it my fault i hate being wrong so much i *have* to know everything - i
have a monstrous ego to support! lol! :)
i've already got 4 interviews lined up for 'permie' jobs on more than i was
on, had 1 ex-workmate discuss working for me(!), and got some contacts for a
freelance jobby. and im stress-free and getting paid to sunbathe for 4
weeks so im still walking on the sunny side of the street :)
the company on the other hand has currently has no sales, a huge bill for
software (they've been using illegal software since i started) and is
top-heavy, get this, they have 4 directors (one of thems been bankrupt 3
times.), 4 managers, 3 designers and 3 developers... nuts... in january
there were 30 staff, now theres 18 and it looks like its set to decrease
further. at least the company has a high turnover... of staff! :)
i think i got the best deal with this redundancy business, i must do it more
often! :)
as for the project, yup they can shove it up their arses alright as far as
im concerned all they said to me was that they were going advise DHR to come
to me for updates to the project which i'll happily discuss with DHR.
