This sounds like it could be a power management issue. Is it possible
that the bios comes configured to save power? If you connect to a
network then generally the net activity will keep the PC awake....

Hi Keith,
Take a look at www.dsvr.co.uk, all our VSs from the VS300 upwards give you
your own mySQL daemon so you can create databases to your hearts content (no
pun intended!).
